The Irish men’s soccer team has now gone to a place never seen before in program history, the College Cup.

After a year that has seen just one loss, an October loss to Virginia at Alumni Stadium, Notre Dame heads to Philadelphia for the College Cup as the highest-seeded team (No. 3) left in the NCAA Championship.

MAC-Hermann Trophy semifinalist Harrison Shipp leads the Irish in points (32), goals (12) and assists (8) while Nick Besler continues to play an outstanding ‘holding’ midfielder position and help one of the nation’s best defensive units.

Before the team departs for Philadelphia on Wednesday, ahead of their match with No. 7 New Mexico on Friday at 5 p.m. (ET) on ESPN U, I thought we should look back on how the squad got here through highlight videos.
